Jason lives about 10 mins from where i am in a posh area called Cumnor hill , a few of us used to meet on a friday night with the cars at a pub around the corner from him and some nights he used to go to the pub as it was his local and have a chat with us about cars though the pub sold around christmas last year and wasnt car friendly

I have an RPI 4.6 in my Pop though due to space ive a borg warner 66 auto behind it , no room for a clutch peddle in the foot well , if i see the bloke that builds my gearboxs ill ask him .........i know that my answer has been of no use to you at all.........

Me n me lad went he took his 100e this morning about 10ish was still raining so pulled up at the pay kiosk and the lady says no racing etc so my lad goes to turn the 100e around and she says if he goes over like the invisable line by the kiosk then we have to pay , with that i just started laughing so we had to reverse back , surely there not that hard up we couldnt even turn the car around , ive always liked Avon park but seems there getting like Santa pod with the money .........Shame was hopeing to do a few runs..

I would say 3k is a fair price , plenty of potential there ..........

The T5 in the van needs a look over / refresh as i lost 3rd gear a while ago and its abit of a pain to go through the box and now it needs the diff sorting as having issues with the LSD that ive fitted Then another project to get done for next year is me lads MK1 Escort estate thats not far off paint after replacing all the rot and get it off the roll over / spit its now on though its all stone chipped now and awaiting paint so my winter is already sorted i think , i love it in the garage ......then theres me lado's 100e that needs abit of fettling now n then .........

UPDATE .... Took the diff out again today ready to get it back to the chap i got it off and when i put the diff into a shallow tub ready to transport as i took it into the light i saw a massive amount of metal fileings had appeared in 2 lines as if in line with the sides off the diff ........so it was binding by the look of it ? Any advice on what has happened ..........Thanks Mark

Sounds just like mine when first driven all quiet and a slight grin on my face after giving it a few miles and obviously warmed itself up the noise was something else , i lost the slight grin on my face to a very concerned what the f*** , thanks for the info.....

Right then after a month or so trying to locate an LSD for the van i finally find a chap who has loads of them and builds circuit race cars so this morning i ring him and he says bring my diff over and he'll fit the slipper into it for me setting it up etc so me and my lad whip out the diff , sounds quick , anyway i take it to the chap who does the business fits it etc even telling me that my diff was a new unit etc etc which i knew as i fitted it so thought he seems honest and knows his stuff ........so go home and refit new diff n LSD even putting in the correct oil that the chap supplied me so off for the test drive and after a very gentle 5 or so miles i corner very slightly and theres a very quiet clunk no prob anyway after about 10 miles its all quiet in a straight line though when i pull away from say the lights / roundabout again gently / normal it makes a lot of clunky rattly noises and loud they are too almost as if the shafts are breaking then finally did a gentle left turn into my drive and it made such a loud metalic noise and felt like it was possibly binding ........Re jacked it up back in the garage and the wheels have loads of movement and you can rattle them in a noisey way and there is plenty off oil in there.......Inside my head its telling me that the LSD not right and the noises coming from it aint right i just need to know from someone with experience with these things......Oh its a used Trans X type LSD .......i know this dont seem right but can anyone tell me what could be happening .......Sorry to go on abit but LSD's aint my thing

I run an English axle in my cossie van and it gets some serious abuse and has done for about 18ish months and it still works fine , its also non LSD , though in the past month or so ive started looking for an LSD purely for the sideways fun value .........

I think if your in the Building game and work for yourself youll always get the "cheap quote wanted" or the best one is once your there my neighbour/brother used to work on the building and he says bla bla bla , i always walk away and say best get them then as most of the time you cant buy the materials for what they reckon it should cost.....
