  1. I had this dilemma about 8 years ago when I was moving house. I used to keep mine in those cardboard boxes you get A4 paper delivered in at work, and had about 5 boxes full. Advertised them as free various places, no takers - ended up down the tip I guess it comes down to if someone is local or not.
  2. Cheers, what was the throw like? Still a short throw or close to standard?
  3. Hi Gordy/all Has anyone bought and fitted this one from Burton? https://www.burtonpower.com/quickshift-gear-lever-quiet-type-9-5-speed-ford-sierra-qs23.html
  4. Same here, but from years of football, and still playing every week at the young age of 50 - I must be mad,
  5. What would that have come from mate?
  6. Cheers Gordy, is there one you would recommend?
  7. It was a last moment decision to go this morning as it was dry and sunny well worth the drive. Just under an hour each way, and gave the old girl a good long run on the motorway before the weather disappears. The Ren 5 Turbo 2 was lovely! Loads more not photographed
  8. Took a trip out to the Petrol Heads cars and coffee morning in Runnymede pleasure Gardens this morning, surprised how busy it was, probably well over 100 cars there. Well worth going again.
  9. Hi all I know this has been asked many times over the years, but wanted to get a fresh opinion from anyone who has recently bought a Type-9 quick shift that doesn't rattle. Mine does - from memory I think it was the Quaife one (cant remember TBH) , at certain speeds and its so annoying, but what's new to the market that people have bought that doesn't rattle.
  10. But is it Old Skool 😆
  11. If you want a static tune then Colin or Joe at Ashtons are good lads, I've used them loads Ashtons Garage https://www.ashton-mobile.co.uk/ Or, if you want a full on rolling road then these two come to mind, both of these guys have been used loads by OSF drivers. CT Tuning in Farnborough https://www.Retards Club.com/ChrisToddTuning/about Sanspeed in Bexleyheath http://www.sanspeed.co.uk/Home All reachable from Leigh on Sea if you want a day out
  12. Nice one, thanks mate
  13. Hi all Lost a fuse at the weekend and cant remember what colour it was for replacement (thinking white 8A). Looked online as cant see anything in the Haynes manual and getting conflicting info For a 1972 Mex, what are the suggested correct fuse ratings as seeing different answers on Google and my plastic fuse cover was lost years ago 😁 Thanks in advance
  14. Bit of a long shot, and not sure if I should put this in parts wanted as it's not a Ford part, but I'd like to see if any of you lovely lot might have an old car aerial knocking about that may screw onto the mount in the below photo? Mine met it's maker in an accident and don't really want to change the base part. Long shot, but thought i'd ask
  15. Every government mate, no matter what party, they all spout shit and say what people want to hear to get into power, and then, well, just make excuses why they cant deliver what they promised. Lying cheating bastards the lot of them
  16. These? https://www.ebay.com/itm/154987111188 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154987111188
  17. I do love a Revo! Often considered having blue or white ones on mine
  18. Hi guys Firstly, sterling effort from you lads for keeping this going, and appreciate it cost a bomb to organise and noting the stress involved in getting this done each year. I remember from the hay day of OSF when we were putting on CF Show stands with over 100 cars before the days of people simply using pay pal, we were getting cheques in the post and all sorts, so feel your pain. Have you asked Scott to advertise and promote this on (spit) OSF social media platforms? That could generate ticket sales if pitched right, if anything, it might keep the NEC happy with a few more ticket sales. - I'm not a social media lover, but let's be honest, everyone is on it and the target audience could be big once people start sharing the post and discount code Just a thought.
  19. Love this Jim, would like to see some more photos of the van
  20. Nice, what was the verdict on the single 45 set up?
  21. Welcome to OSF Carl! Fortunately mine is an earlier Mex with the servo on the right hand side so my 40's sit sweet. But pretty sure I've seen loads of people anfle the servo tower down a bit? Might need a bit it fettling, but I'm sure that's an option. I've always wanted to have a go on a single 45 on a Lynx manifold for some reason.
  22. Wow, just wow, that is mega dosh
  23. Yeah that'd work wouldn't it, or if budget conscious, would a 2.0 zetec be cheaper? And same here, only 5 mins from Gatwick! Will you be going to any local meets at all? might bump into you.
