arch Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 i reakon u shud keeps urs if u love it dont get rid over wise ull regret it. or u could go get tht harrier u were on about
sab6024 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 Oh a toughie! I haven't voted, but you should consider how you would feel if you got rid of the car. If you thought for a minute you would regret it then don't sell. There is only one car that I regret getting rid of and that was my Mk1 Escy I rolled. I'd never consider selling the Capri, I'd be gutted.
james p Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Posted April 3, 2007 hes comein on sat to have a look im still unsure what to do i miss my 4 door wich makes me want another one but im worryed ill feel the same about my 2 door why is it soo hard

arch Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 dont sell u regreted sellin the 4 door ull do the same about the 2 door mate
Rick Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 repair what you have mate! take it off the road a while and give it a full refresh
john_3.0s Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 stick with what you have got (unless its a real rotter) you never know what lurks below the carpets of another shell - unless its stripped of course. BUT beware you will spend a fortune on bolts, clips, pipes, cables etc when you build a new car, but you prob knew that anyway.
Jay_harrier Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 the problem i have is i can sell the tired mk 2 How 'tired' is the shell?, if it just needs a couple of plates & a splash of paint then keep what you have - you may end up buying something 10 times worse or paying a lot of money. Even wings, flitches, front panels etc aren't too expensive if you can do it yourself or have a mate that can.
james p Posted April 3, 2007 Author Report Posted April 3, 2007 the mk2 needs 2 wings front pannel 2 doors a floor pan and a rear quater to sort the body out
bomber1 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 u will regret selling it m8 and dont sound like to much work compared to some
