I have just found this over at 105speed.com, the following is a quote from the pettition page.

 

Several EU proposals across the years are dangerous to the classic car movement. One that has been under consideration is to ban the use of cars older than 10 years. Similarly, Edinburgh City Council is considering the banning of cars over 15 years old from the town centre. These, and similar, proposals directly threaten the classic car movement, and encourage the manufacture of new cars, with the attendent environmental issues of sourcing raw materials, manufacturing, distriuting and scrapping the spiralling supply of new vehicles.

We need to get out of this situation where the EU say's jump and we say "how high". They take the proverbial wee wee!!! :evil::evil::evil:

 

No-one will tell me what car to drive or when to drive it :ykt::ykt:

Thats just fooking stupid how is any one supposed to get there first car apart from taking finace for a new car which then they wont be able to insure??????

That worries me too, I'm perhaps overly suspicious, but I hate entering my address into a government database, they keep tabs on us far too much as it is IMHO!
