Got given a set of shark grey 2.8 recaros, a set of 2.8 Billies and some rear spax 8)8)

 

My mate paid 25 quid for a set of mk1 RS 4 spokes. Jammy git :lol:

I think it has to be my ultra rare 1300 Pre Crossflow for the Anglia. I got it on eBay for a "buy it now" of £35 notes. Now considering it's considered the best Pre Crossflow to have, and 1500 Pre Crossflows seem to average £120, I don't think it was to bad.

 

But, and there always is a But, I have never had so many problems rebuilding or fitting an engine into any car, than I have had with this one.

 

The fecker still isn't running properly :roll::?:evil:

Car was £100 squid

 

2.8 billies and brakes, cam, K&N, unleaded head, all free.

 

Alloy rack mounts, gearlever surround and catch tank, all OSFDC prizes :thumbsup::thumbsup: .

 

And my newest bargain is a vernier cam pulley from fleabay. Less than 8 quid delivered :D One the same style ended today at 26 quid by the time it was posted :shock:

5 weller 8 spokes in chrome in good condition but the spare had a puncture, all the other tyres were good - £20

 

i got given a ford garage workshop handbook from my sister ex's dad and a few old gaskets,

 

and my dunlop d1's which are in good condition £145 which is cheap for them

The car itself, complete, solid, no sunroof, a 4 speed and a 3.77 all fitted,unmollested, all original, been dry stored since 98, passed test with no work needed...

 

£20.... 8)

 

Spent £3000 on it though. :sad:

In 1999, when I owned a Mk II 1300L, I was walking past a skip outside the physics block at uni, and found a centre console with working clock.....

 

A random find, but free, none the less. :D
