Lunchbreaks

Listening to the radio the other day, and heard that advert from Pizza hut, saying people should stop and have lunch breaks,I m sure you ve heard it.

Made me think, how many of you stop for a lunchbreak.

No. Because I have such a hectic busy lifestyle and I also don't stop while I'm at work, I can only eat when time allows

Yep I do, generally for half an hour.....unless I'm on here or fiddling with the car, its generally longer then

i always make time for my lunch break only cos the dont pay me for it

i try to but even though they are unpaid i normally end up working through, its the only break i get in a 12 hour shift

Nope .... have lunch on the go or use my lunchbreaks to pick my eldest up from school after he has stayed late for clubs

i dont usually get time. i grab 10 mins every few hours on here when i can so no.

Most of the time I have a lunch break but usually only 30 mins, that I way I get to leave work at 5 to pick my daughter up on time from after school club.

yeah, if i don't get the 45 mins break then i go home early (they don't pay me for working through it)

Our breaks at work are:

8/9 hours= 1 hour unpaid

7 hours= 40 mins unpaid

5 hours= 10 mins paid

4 hours and under= no break
