I made someones day today.

Coming out of B&Q there was a guy in his 30s walking back to his car which I'd parked next to. As I got closer he was admiring it, and saying 'What a van, what a van'. I think he said that before he realised it was my van.

 

As I was loading the stuff into the back he said 'What have you done to it?' and then corrected himself 'Or rather, what HAVEN'T you done to it?'. He kept saying it was lovely.

 

So I asked if he wanted to see under the bonnet. I opened it and after he'd picked his jaw up off the floor he said 'Wow. You've made my day.'

 

I drove off, fast, with a big smile on my face

It sure is good when someone reacts to your OSF the other week on the way home from work a young lad stops on his bmx and shouts across the road" OH YEAH F***ING COOL CAR MATE" and giving me a strange hand sign/wave and as im over 20 didn't have a clue what it meant!!!
