Admin Vista Posted June 20, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 20, 2007 How can you have full no claims in 2.5 years of driving? nah lol i mean no claims in 2.5 years Well edited I'm not sure if you'll qualify for classic insurance at 23, so I'd guess at more than £300, probably quite a bit more. Have you tried ringing around? I suspect lots of companies will say they don't cover cars of that age, and many classic insurance specialists will have a problem with your age.
Stu_B Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Go HIC, they'll insure you as classic!! I wouldn't say as low as £300 though!!
flyingbanana Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 im only saying £300 because mine is little bit less than that.....on classic insurance etc.....but i do have 10 years no claims bonus on my escort.....im with hic....also it depends on your job on how much they put it up
Stu_B Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 The 5k value of the car will make the most difference!
GJUK Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 I'm 22, had a quote last week with HIC for classic insurance on a 1300 2 dr mk2. Was £240 fully comp, insured for £4k. I have 1 Yr's NCB and driving a company car also for 2 years. Jon

Burns Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 mine's just over £300 with no no-claims but no accidents/points either, had my licence 5 years, 1.1 fezza that is ps. it's lancaster insurance
Jimbob-Squarepants © Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Well, it can't be any worse than mine mate.... 27 years old... 1 years no claims.... kept on drive in one of the worst postcodes in London.... Anglia & Capri = £361 a year fully comp. The capri is the £300 majority of that BTW, i'm with Footman James & have Agree'd Valuations, breakdown, windscreen cover, legal cover and I can only do 3000 miles in each per year
