It had an 1100 in it !!!!!!!!! and big wide 9x13 inch dished revolutions . It was a red 1968 car on an "F" reg and it looked quite good at the time ( i used to out pose XR3i's with those "Kat" + "rattlesnake" bodykits ) until the lights changed to green . I've got some photos of it somewhere , it also had an rs2000 mk2 rubber boot spoiler fitted
Admin Vista Posted June 22, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 22, 2007 it also had an rs2000 mk2 rubber boot spoiler fitted Isn't the mk2 boot spoiler longer? There was such a thing as a mk1 rubber boot spoiler, they weren't popular over here but were seen more often on the continent, specifically on German cars. Rare as rocking horse poo now. I've only seen one come up for sale in the last 3 years. Ironically it didn't sell for much, probably as most people thought it was a fly boy trying to pass off a mk2 spoiler as something rare.
Tommy.C Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 yeh i saw that on ebay it looks King awful! a waste of a perfectly good escort!
105Nick Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 Think it used to be yellow ... either that or there's more than one out there!
