flyingbanana Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 if they are new ...its most likely to be brake dust ...just clean them up and it should sort it
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 the discs arnt new but the pads are newish
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted June 23, 2007 Report Posted June 23, 2007 i could do but itd have to be bloomin loud to drown it cause they squeal pretty loud

Von Loxlee Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 my brakes squeal a beauty as sooon as they get a bit warm bloody lost the little anti squeal shim things when changing the pads
RETRO_AL Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 some pads sqeal worse than others, mine are realy bad but i dont care aslong as i stop, you did put some copper ease stuff on the back?
negri Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 copper ease on the back and you could grind/buff the edges off the pad material just to take the edge of the pad
Jelly Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Putting copper grease on the fronts helps stop brake squeal also.. Causes a lot of driver squeal when you next try to stop in a hurry though.
bomber1 Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Putting copper grease on the fronts helps stop brake squeal also.. Causes a lot of driver squeal when you next try to stop in a hurry though. only if u put the cpperslip on the wrong side of the pad

QuadCamCapri Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Putting copper grease on the fronts helps stop brake squeal also That is a trick often used in one make championships on the rears, some cars have too much bias to the rears especially when all the interior is removed. The brakes can't be modified in any way and bias valves are not allowed only pads are free, so holes are drilled in the pads and filled with copperslip
