bronze4door Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 my friend is fixing up his estate that has the same sort of damage as that it was hit by a drunk driver outside his house on a sunday morning and she did not even now she hit it it needs a wing an inner wing and a front panel so he bought the front end off a four door and is going to weld it onto the estate and get it back on the road, i will try to get some pictures of the slow progress he is making so urs can be fixed might cost you a bit though
slimrs Posted June 28, 2007 Author Report Posted June 28, 2007 thanks timothy lol, at least it wasnt the cossie escort i pulled the wing off because i couldnt get out as it was bent back and blocking the drivers door. bronze 4 door, thanks mate, id like to get it back on the road but it wont be for a while, its the inner wing and bulkhead im concerned about but ill have a look at any pics you have, might help. send them to fatherjack829@hotmail.com. i have one serious headache though, ive cut my head in a few places but never broke the windscreen which is a little strange

slimrs Posted June 29, 2007 Author Report Posted June 29, 2007 thanks for all the kind words, im gutted as i was swapping it for a 2 dr mk2 that ive had to buy anyway but i think im gonna leave it to someone with more time and experiance. there has been a few people expressed an interested in the van and im open to offers as it sits, the engine still runs fine but the radiator leaks where whats left of the fan is still embedded in it. i have no idea what its worth so i might stick up a whats it worth post
