johnny_h Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 Unlucky dude. That's a shame. At least you trashed a mondeo with it, every cloud and all that
slimrs Posted June 27, 2007 Author Report Posted June 27, 2007 a pillar is actually ok, the chassis rail is a little bent and the bonnet has bent the bulkhead. might have to space frame it as for insurance, they will give me nothing. he will obviously claim off my insurance for his car but i dont have to claim do i? i would like to keep it if only for the running gear etc if it isnt savable
Rick Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 as said above if it is a write off keep it. ~ someone out there may tackle it

If you are, no you don't have to claim, but his claim will still count against your No Claims Discount so you've nothing to lose by claiming yourself. Plus as you own the car you can retain the salvage if you want it.
