antz Posted October 13, 2006 Author Report Posted October 13, 2006 i use 10 days as well. bit of a hypocrite aint it its all part of the fun but its bloody annoying.
Cookie Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I have a serious love/ hate thing with fleabay, sometimes it's the greatest thing ever and the other 95% of the time is pisses me right off! know what you are saying mate,
Dom Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Me too. The worst thing is when you see something you really want but you can't buy it for another week, by which time you've come to your senses and decided not to buy it. Impulse buying is brilliant
Mr Sam Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 ive been after a rev counter for a few weeks now with no success id almost given in and was about togo buy it now on some tack fast and furious 7 colour led crap, when i came across a nice one with 1minute 4seconds remaining without even reading any of it biddeda pound and won
bashmk1 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Me too. Impulse buying is brilliant god knows where id be without impulse buying, i wouldnt have half my stuff if i didnt just go and buy things randomly and without thinking.
Doc Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I won a car that didnt make the reserve last week . Phoned the guy who said that i didnt win so he sold it to the first guy on the phone ! tinker lol ! hate it !
antz Posted October 14, 2006 Author Report Posted October 14, 2006 sorry to hear that doc luckily the item i was watching i managed to win! i went above my max though just because id been watching it so long adn it wasnt going to get away from me that easily! was a mk2 escort rubber spoiler in mint condition won it for £49.78 which with postage adn insurance it came to £58.48. bit mroe than i wanted to pay but i bet the 2 guys who i was in a bidding war with are pissed off!
Jimsiss Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 now all you have to do is drill the holes in the right place on the boot
fezza Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Antz mate, for future referance you should try www.justsnipe.com just put in the item number and maximum bid and it does it for you,no bloody waiting etc,its great for when your at work too,you can set it so it enters your bid with 2 seconds to go,best of all its free, you get 5 snipes a week i think
antz Posted October 14, 2006 Author Report Posted October 14, 2006 why dint i think of that!? i was lucky to win because the winning bidder at teh time had put £47 on it so i had to beat him. hence my £50 bid then with 6 seconds left another bidder put in £49.78. was lucky to get it. good job i put my bid in late but early enough to keep in the lead cheers fezza. ill keep it in mind
styut Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 e-bay is great...! - I've just won a pair of mk1 rear light clusters that I needed for £0.99p. And they're just down the road so no postage..!
