New mk1 escort estate!

My dad won a mk1 escort estate on Ebay the other day and its being delivered today!! Cant wait! it has a 2.0ltr pinto, 5-speed box, fishnets and other bits. All it needs is a prop (got one in the shed) and a rad (got one in the shed). A welcome addition to the Bartholomew osf family.

Will get some pics up later. My dad put a bid on it, went downstairs to have his tea, cam back up and it was his for £601 !! He didnt expect that!

We got it delivered by some guy pretty cheaply to avoid messing around with a trailer etc and when it arrived, on the whole it's pretty good. Although the description omitted some minor details like no gear lever, or exhaust and slightly more rust than stated (passenger side door is a little manky at the bottom) but on the whole it is really cool and i love it!!!

Check the vin before you go for your Tax m8 , if it was built after Jan 1st 1973 , you will NOT get free Tax...even though its a 1973 reg"d car . Trust me , i should know

Very good, I was perving over that on ebay a month or so ago and had to control myself not to have a bid myself. I reckon if it had been more local or the Capri had already sold when I saw it I would have it in a heartbeat. Very pleased to see its joined the familly so to speak. Looks tidier than I thought it would, your dad got a bargain.
