There's no fuel coming through to the fuel pump, or through to the carb?

Start at the beginning and check that you have fuel flowing freely at the inlet side of the fuel pump. Then pull the hose off at the inlet to the carb, crank it and check for fuel discharge to the carb. If it's getting to the carb but not to the plugs then you need to start fault finding in the carb.

In that case it sounds like the fuel pump you have isn't being actuated as the engine turns over. You still have a mechanical pump right? It may be that the pump is wrong for a 205 block install (I've no idea if they were different or not)
