well i finally talked my mrs into getting an osf!

i had a very reliable (but boring) vw golf.

+ i have been looking for a daily driver for ages

i have missed out on so many good cars lately

mainly because of a very limited budget :(

well i sold my golf on thursday last week + went

out the same day + put a deposit on my new one.

i picked it up on friday + have spent most of the

time since then cleaning it! still got more to do though

under the bonnett. it also needed a few jobs doing

luckily they didn't cost much to do. also little bits of

paintwork here + there to tidy it up but it's looking

a bit better now, it's not immaculate but it's clean.

this is my only car so it will be used all the time,

it's nice to have an old car again + it does put a smile

on my face driving it, it's not the fastest thing in world

being a 1.3 but i like it, the interior was a bit manky

+ it has mk5 escort front seats but i put a set of covers

on them + at least its tidy, the kids do moan though

my eldest she's 14 said i cant believe we got rid of a

nice car + got a BEIGE grandads car!! bless her.

i even found today one of those magnetic key holder

things they used to sell! stuck under the bumper god

knows how long thats been there? anyway enough

of me waffling on but if anyone spots me out + about

give me a wave you cant miss me in the BEIGE MOBILE!

Ford Beige paint must have excellent 'anti rust' qualities. All the mint fords are always beige!

maybe...maybe!

thanks for all the comments lads, i really hate the height

of it though + i wanted to lower it 2 inches all round but

where i live it's nothing but bloody speed bumps, + with

4 of us in there it might be a bit dodgy but i might do it

+ make the kids go by bus

Isn't that because they're normally bought by grandads? (spend most of the time locked up in a garage)

Nice find mate, looks lovely.
