Hows it compare to your old car and engine mate ?

Hey Gaz, i havent driven it enought to give a proper comparison really. Will be going for a few cheeky drives soon though. All i can say is that it span the wheels really easily and on the whole, the car felt amazing. Really tight and responsive. But first impressions on the engine alone....... well, i dont think it compares to my last engine really tbh. To start, there is the noise!! I had to wear ear defenders in the room with the rollers just cos of the induction noise!!

I will take her out for a spin soon and get a good feel of the car before the track day. Get used to the ride and steering cos its all rose jointed and really hard work!

Cheers for the comments everyone! I am really pleased with the power she made and i feel much better about selling my black one to fund this one now.

You def won't be the first  I'll give you a tip, just lift off a little as you go over the start line and you should get away with it

Mine is only just over the limit at 9000 over the line, I think your carbs will be a little quieter than my T/B's so go for it 8)

Nice one mate, just a shame it's sold out, I'd have loved to come along, would have been an orchestra!!!

Thread ressurection!

Sam mate, this engine has more potential in my honest opinion. Noticed your peak power came in at 7250rpm, Matt was revving his to 9000rpm on the standard crank and rods. He had intruder pistons to raise the comp, do you have those too?

Rather than spending more money getting a turbo lump, why not invest in a few more bits for that engine? Like for instance some fuel injection, a tony law manifold (if you don't have one already), bring the revs up and swing the cams? I reckon there's gotta be another 20-25bhp in there.

Just some thoughts
