could either be cut along the door opening and then fibreglass a return in back to the original door and door shut

they have always been there they were my dads back in the 1980s and were originally red they faded badly and i robbed them for mine cos its a proper 'bo mod innit mate!

but personally id leave it lookin stock, but on the floor with some nice wheels. but hey, each to there own mate, its your car

why does everyone always say something along the lines of 'its a 4 door it should be a sleeper' its looknig down on them i feel.....what is wrong with the idea of a xpack or forest arched 4 door???....it can be done and just cos it has 2 more doors i dont see how people can look down on it

 

it just gets annoying the way 4 doors are looked down upon and should 'be sleepers' all the time its like thats all the 4 door is good enough to be.

i dont think its a case of people looking down on four doors. i love em, its just a four door is always going to be more subtle than a 2 door, as ford, to my knowledge never really made a sporty 4 door model. so as a sleeper has that bit more of an element of surpise. my mate has a 4 door ghia in silver full trim, looks a bit ratty but with a pinto, tramp bars, billies ect and its so much more fun smoking chavs from the lights in that compared to my bright orange mk1 that looks like it should be fast.

I wasn't going for a colour match I was bored and it seemed an interesting way to spend my time.

So generally the idea is no then..................oooookay, I personally like the idea and might well pursue it in the future. Either that or a 4 door droop snoot rs2000 rep.

the problem with that is I actually want a 4 door. And they pretty much always end up looking strange when they're finnished so I'd get slated for that
