ive had a under the bonnet fire on a capri and it did,nt look like that,their was no damage only to the lume,get a inderpendition survay done on the car by garage and hand that to the insurance companey,because their will try and widdle their way out of paying up

Real sickner mate - Obviously you have the evidence but it's defo petrol fire, you can see how the fuel has run down the gutters then caught allight. Are you wanting the car back ? for spares / repair?

 

If you do, be careful with the insurance engineer as he might CAT B the vehicle. Speak to him straight away let them know your intentions before they see it.

It will need, paint almost all over, engine, suspension all round, tyres, loom, new interior and it still needs welding. I've accepted it as a total loss really as i need a car to get to work and back, i also have a fiesta as a project too.
