Just got my new insurance renewal quote.

Im paying £500 and odd at the moment, with no no claims and no experience at 19 years old.

Now im 20, with a years no claims, and a years driving. They want £700.

How the hell does that make sense.

Idiots. They just lost a customer.

Ive rung up and when the lad on the other end was absolutely clueless (i dont mean he wasnt sure, i mean he was an idiot) i gave him some abuse and lost it a bit. Not very nice i know but i was annoyed.

My premium shouldve gone down, say £50, aso in theory they want £250 more then i should be paying.

Im gonna shop around now, F@ck them.

what they tend to do is give you a good price the first year then just send you out an expensive renewal because a lot of people cant be arsed to shop around and sign them and send them back and think that because it was a good price the year before it will automatically be the same best proce this year!!

Insurance seems to be one area where being a loyal customer doesn't get rewarded!! :?

Nope the RAC are at it too.

My renewal for Joint membership?

£159

If I was to sign up online for a new joint membership?

£122 :shock::evil::evil::evil:

Now £37 doesn't sound like a lot, but if they're doing that to all of their members, that's collectively a lot of cash!
