Gibson Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 does anyone have any pictures of capris with other body other than x pack? tho x pack pictures would be cool aswel basically i was talking to a friend of mine who said he had seen/heard of capris with forest arches from a mk2 escort and even a manta400 body kit on them.... i kinda like both of these ideas for arches but would like too see whayt they look like and try and work out how its done.. so anyone got any pics?
Gibson Posted September 7, 2006 Author Report Posted September 7, 2006 bit radical really lol. im kinda thinking of just arches and maybe a subtle front skirt. thats about as subtle as a clown fight... still King cool tho... its the forest arches im really interested in.... i think they mite look quite awesome.... but any sujestions considered

Or if someone is local, and has a capri .. (white would be good) and can pop in i'll place some GP2's carefully on it so pics can be taken

Retromotorsport Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Micky, you can post that pic anywhere you like ... and that is probably from Duncans site ..lol But it does show off the low roll center rear end well... the front inside tyre is still in contact with the ground, unlike the other escorts that came round that bend lol Ooops anyways back to the arches

mk1super Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 Nooooooooooooooooooooo! You cant fit them on a ford! The forest arches look the nuts but the front seems to lack something i'd fit a bib like some mk1 escorts run or a mk1 golf one, just to beef the front up even more!

Daveyboy20 Posted September 9, 2006 Report Posted September 9, 2006 Yeah im gonna stick a bib spoiler on the front and maybe swap the turbo tail for a ducktail in the next few months funds allowing. Im really happy with how mean it looks just need to tidy it up a bit and lay down the matt black!! You can get tarmac arches from the escort agency i think (not sure) i got mine second hand from ian harwood, Ive had to chop a lot out though to fit the 10" wide wheels in them!
