and on that note I bow out of the ring.

....unless jmk1 wants a quick pop?

jonny im not part of this agrument. i personaly just thought it was a bit silly asking a 13 year old to pay a memebership fee when he isnt even allowed a debit card. Thats all i was saying.

Ive apoligised once for getting involved in an argument where i obviously didnt know all the facts, so drop it. if you want to continue having digs at me i will take it in offense. Your choice.

If you have taken offence I apologise. I was only retaliating to your threat. Forum threads can be read in so many different ways can't they.

I don't give a shit makes our site cheap at £12 a year  And i thank the AVO club for their elitist attitude, 'cos without this, OSF wouldn't exist

Happy new year

guys not everyone on the avo forum polishes every single bit of their car.

take tim's and allan's for instance - and ours for a matter of facts - they are used and abused just like the cars on here and some of them compete in night rally's and navigation events.

not all avo owners are bufties

I see - my reply was censored - hmm - I wonder why??

Strange that Richard I've wondered exactly the same thing on the AVO forum many times.

Not that I've knowingly done that to your posts despite being a moderator.

Just said that it seemed to be a lot of hot air on the thread.

We will see what transpires in time - each to their own and it was a decision by the members, not an arbitrary one by the committee. We haven't had a go at your guys and I have no intention of doing so as my car is nowhere near a bufty machine. It is used seriously for track days, road rally course car and hopefully on the BHRC next year (if I can get someone brave/foolish* enough to sit next to me (*delete as appropriate)).

Let's just all live nicely alongside each other rather than sniping shall we?

MASSIVE MISTAKE............ i havn't spoken to Russ Pemberton yet or Alan but I will, we had a MK1 Mexico and sold it so didn't renew our membership but still logged in for a natter and keep upto date with events........

BUT........ they will still want OSF help on AVO day ? ?? ?

Nothing is irrevocable but I understand it was the wish of a lot of club members.......

Perhaps we will all lose something but time will tell.

I'm happy to talk as well - my number/e-mail is in Havoc/on the website

I think the damage is done ralllyman
But you've never been a supporter of the club have you - just trolling our forum - that's why you're pissed off about it.

Johnny may not have been a supporter of the club, but I was and still (for a short while at least) am. I share his opinion that it was a poor decision and I don't recall any of the members being asked about it. A forum needs lots of users to be really interesting, variety is the spice of life after all. Looking at the limited number of members who post regularly the forum isn't going to get a great deal of use.

bunch of saddos those avo peeps :beer::beer::beer:

That's not fair. It may have been a poor decision but there are plenty of good people in the club
