ann_capri Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 also handy if you get a puncher or if your on the quater you can leave with some one who is not raceing has several people looked after other people's stuff at ford fair while they were on the track

ratman Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 your gonna look a tit if you call out the RAC/AA for a flat tyre expcially if you had to wait two hours for them to turn up
PaulAshman Posted January 6, 2008 Author Report Posted January 6, 2008 I think the lot will be staying in.

DeanMk1Capri Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 Yep, got me a spare and two Jacks (including my son) also parts to get me back on the road and home - our old skoolers can generally be patched up good enough to limp home if you carry some spares...

mossy Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 Can of tyre of tyre weld, it's awesome stuff ive got a spare and a can! - you never know!
Pipster007 Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 Is it an offence to knowingly drive on a motorway without a spare wheel. I can't remeber if that was something I heard a long time ago, or if it's something I just made up
mossy Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 spare wheel is a wierd one...Nobody said anything when my old car had 18's on, had a blow out had to be recovered as my spare was a 14 so i couldnt use it. Also a spare wheel is not needed for an mot.....BUT.....if it is there it will be tested and must be road worthy.

I have that problem in my daily drive running 17"s although you can pretty much drive a 45 profile flat!
