i run a 4 speed, yeah motorway drivins a bit loud, but ur drivin a old skool ford u want comfort buy some new crap thing...

 

I dont think thats the issue mate

 

For example, driving in a convoy to the pod doing over 7000rpm for a couple of hours takes it's toll on the engine

As long as it hasnt got a 2.04 first gear,they are no good for the pod or pulling away quickly,you want a 2.48 first gear really or something like that :thumbsup:

I used to have a 2.04 first gear and i was in 1st forever with a 4.1 diff :lol:

 

Ive got a 3.36 1st 1.81 2nd 1.26 3rd 1.00 4th & 0.825 5th with a 4.1 and 185/60/13 is that any good :?

 

as my ratios an't on bortaf list :shock:

I don't even remember where i got that list from :lol:

a kit car site probably, what's your box? i'll add it on to the program, it's an eXel doc where you add the tyre size and diff ratio to calculate speed V's revs
