sambo Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 I'm bored at work so here is some pics and info about my car. Lots of pics so be warned!!! Bought it to replace my black beast that i had and had a 16V pinto waiting to go in. Its 5 - linked, turreted and fully caged with the cage tied into the suspension etc. Paintwork is a bit shabby but one day i'll re-spray it in the red and gold Alan Mann colours. It came with a new quaife 4 speed rocket box with hydraulic clutch. The front wings, bonnet and boot are fibre glass as are the rear arches. The front brakes are porsche 993 carrera callipers with 315mm AP racing discs. The rears are porsche again with sierra front discs. Its running a drop-link kit too. Its running an 52" atlas axle with a ZF 4.6 LSD too. Suspension wise; is has fully adjustable mk1 escort struts converted to 2.25" by Leda and sachs rear adjustable shocks at the rear. Group4 all round too. (a fooking pain when trying to fit wheels!!) Here's some pics of the engine before it starting knocking the other day... And the front end... The interior.... Hope to get the engine sorted and do a few more track days. Then the next job is getting either a re-spray or getting the atlas shortened to get my new 10x15" revoloutions on. Not yet Sam, Wayne and Kev are popping round on Friday to have a listen and give me the bad news! Plan is to get W.P.E to have a butchers, fix it and hopefully build a little reliability into it with hopefully more oomph if funds allow!!
