V8ian Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Damp down the ace at times tonight, but the OSF hierarchy were ominious by their absence, which is unusual, not mny OSF faces at all really, but still a good turnout, the carpark was nearly full, that was untill the thunder storm!!!!!!!

Admin Mk2Jo Posted February 6, 2008 Admin Report Posted February 6, 2008 but the OSF hierarchy were ominious by their absence, which is unusual Well done guys - looks like a fair turnout for a cold, damp winter night Unfortunately, the mid-week evening nights are no good for me because it takes 1 hour minimum to get to The Ace from our place if the roads are clear and it's a too late to take the kids on a school night and expensive to get a sitter. I'm sure the other Admin will make their reasons for not going known Thanks to all of you who made the effort though
Noodles Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I was there with Chris in his tina, took us 2 hours
RFChris Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I was there with Chris in his tina, took us 2 hours Still not recovered from that!
Noodles Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I was there with Chris in his tina, took us 2 hours Still not recovered from that! Was a giggle thou
kevmk2 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I was there with my brother, was in the old s.ierra though
martymk1 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 i work evenings, so the only way i can do it' is to take the evenings off or do a sickie' will be there later in the year
kevmk2 Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I dont think i could do lates or a night shift myself. Ive done lates in the past on the buses, and although there is less traffic on the road and easier to drive, i just used to hate being at work when everyone else was at home. It does no good for your relationship with the mrs because you never see her (some may prefer that ) , and all your mates are at home or down the pub, sort of ruins your social life and sex life, not good
