you guy's picking on us top earner's for

dont think it mater's what you earn it still wont be anouth to live on,because you live to what you have,if you have 40k comeing in you get the bill's to go with it and the tax man take's a huge chunk, same has if you are earinging 14k,the higher you are the bigger the fall, wish i could go do a little 14k job in a nice garage or something but cant due to comment's,you will see when you get to the big money, the more you have the more you will need.

4th one down, and I love my job to boot !! :D

(I do very little  )

What manner of work are you in????????

I work for a removals company, looking after a fleet of around 40 vehicles.

I cut up chassis's and make the shorter or cut up tractor units and make them longer !! Swap bodys around and spray them, you name it I do ! ( I actually spend most of the day standing next to the heater keeping warm, lol)

I spend most of my time cutting and welding metal, its great practice for when working on oldskoolfords  Everyday is different, every job is different. I work by myself, in my own workshop so no numptys to piss me off, lots of long tea breaks, boss leaves me to it, £200+ for a Saturday...

Did I mention I love my job

I was made redundant and was desparate for a job, bills to pay mouths to feed etc.. , I soon learned and pulled it off, what a blag  and now I cutting up chassis' lol

I worked for an American owned company for a few years and it was very open book concerning wages. Took me a while to get used to that attitude but it was a great motivator once you´d found out what the boss was earning :D

To be honest though more money doesn´t make you any happier, a few years a go i was earning twice as much as i am today but i was having to work twice the hours too. Not enough family time and definetly not enough time in the garage at home...

The more you have the more you (and the wife!) spend.

With a big house, a wife that has enough work with two teenage lads and me without going out and earning too and an expensive hobby...work it out for yourselves

Looks like i´m part of the majority though..... :D
