Stealing pictures

If i find a picture on here that i want to use in my school project, do i need to continually ask the person who posted the picture? Last nite i needed restoration pictures and i asked a few people but i want a few pictures of all diferent OSF's and naturally i thought this was the best place to come to. It will take ages for me to ask everybody if i can use this and use that so if i can use your pictures in the readers rides/events sections can you please say in this post. Make it a bit easier for me lol Thanks guys

Technically if they have been posted on a public forum they are fair game, this won't stop some people getting a bit hufty so probably best to ask.

 

p.s. if they watermark/tag the pic there would be a different set of rules.

me and chris(fleet) are the people to talk to if you want cortina pics got hundreds

If you are using other peoples pics it is common courtesy to credit the person under the pic, in small text.

 

 

The only thing that naffs me off is when people use my pics on their website but dont ask permission or credit me.

 

 

Manners are free mate, no harm in asking.. you never know you might get more from the person.
