Its shite

Trying to build a model i go to take the lid of the glue and its fookin welded solid wont come off, so i unscrew it at the base, and the tube is dry as the Sahara  Why cos its all dried in the fookin noozle! Ahhhhhhh

I dont get it i left it up on its end so this wouldnt happen, there all the same all seem to do it from cheap an nasty through to loctite, great at sticking your fingers together but shite for fook all else!

Rant over!

It's great! Use it for all sorts of stuff, from repairing my nails to stopping paint chips rusting. I even coated a patch if filler in it the other day cos it started to rain and I couldn't paint it! It's OK today, no rust! You can even close small cuts wit it too, they used it in the Falklands war to secure burn dressings. The surgeon used it on my upper lip when I had a dog bite too!

it was invented to stick people back together (well hold wounds shut anyway) thats why its soo good at sticking you fingers together or you hand to the work bench

superglue sets when it come into contact with air- it causes a chemical reaction (well thermal reaction) which sets the glue. to stop it from gluing the lid on you need to clean the lid & nozzle of any glue and stnd it up before fitting the lid. (basically if theres no glue on the nozzle it can glue the lid on).

i once glued a 1/10 model tyre pn a rim, flipped it over to glue the other side and glued the first side to my jeans... so i went to remove my jeans and the glue had gone through my jeans and the whole caboodle was glued to my left leg

if course the wife found it very amusing, spent an hour picking away to get my jeans off my leg

i still have a red circle just above my left knee.

did it not burn coz i have spilt it on my jeans when messing with my tyres on my remote controled cars and it gets very warm when

yes, it did burn... but i thought id only glued it to the jeans, i used special tyre cement specificly designed for the purpose.

i allways seem to get in a right pickle when glueing tyres so i brought the propper tool for doing it..... and managed to glue that thing up as well.

remember at a race meet, i did the tyres on the car, turned the car over on its side and glued the other side, my race was starting so i went to pick the car up off the table and it was stuck solid to the desk on its side... i got the piss ripped outa me for that.

I could've done with some super glue yesterday morning as I broke the handle off one of my clients favourite Emmerdale mugs....ooops!!:lol:

Did they notice or did you slyly put it back in the cupboard

A guy at my Dad's work had superglue on the back of his hands and ended up with a stanley blade stuck to him. He didn't notice and went to wipe his face and yep you guessed it....gashed face. Men eh?
