pump it full of gas leave the slicks as they cant be used on the road so to me render the times run a bit pointless if it has a steel bottom end and low compression then it should take a fair amount of gas

Need forged pistons to raise compression and too handle the 100 bhp gas hit . Hoping to get the rolling chassis down to 700 kilos and power over 330bhp (without a turbo)

Yes mate your right but i don't want a low comp engine as it will be gutless when the gas runs out .

So you are going to have to shell out on pistons then. What are you doing for a sump? Or do you have a rack already fitted?

Leaving the steering box in place and then running a steel pinto front bowl sump for £5 which should fit i reckon . I will the need pucker pistons though or it will run 1 eleven sec pass and then explode !!!!!!!

My bottom end is cossy with 94mm omega forged piston they was £125 each in 1992 fook knows what they cost now

I've got nothing against the above steve , i just had lots of people with featherweight/turbo/nitrous race cars etc from turbosport etc comparing my heavy comfy escort road car to theirs all the time .
