....not RFChris anymore.

Yeah, I'm leaving Retro Ford Magazine.

Some of you will know about this, some won't. For the latter, it was due to personal issues concerning my family, including my amazing 19 month old daughter, Lucie-Rose and the lack of time I had to spend with them. The wages didn't help either.

My last day will be on the 18th of this month, and I'm not looking forward to it. I have enjoyed my time on RF and I don't want it to end, but a job is just a job, my family are forever.

Anyway, I won't ramble on. I just want to thank everyone on here for being a part of my success and creativity and ability to be a good writer while at RF, and may it continue, albeit through other motoring mediums.

OSF has been a massive catalyst in my career, and were it not for this site and it's members I'm sure things would have much different. I'd like to thank you all for helping me, and being part of something which, while it may be bleak now, will have a significant bearing on the direction of the rest of my life.

I'm here thanks to OSF, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Urm....that's all.

Glad you've made the right decision mate although I dont think RF will be as good as it is without you. Its a shame that the powers at the helm of RF could'nt see that as well and pay you your true worth.

Good luck with your new venture and you know you can call on me and I'm sure lots of others here on OSF anytime if you think we can be of help.

Hope to see you on the site more now as well

Good Luck for the future Chris and rest assured you have made the right decision :ykt: We know you have given your all for RF Mag and almost lost your family over it but a journalist with your skills will always be okay

Hopefully you will go back to being your happy-go-lucky self and never have to sleep again in your car all week in a car park just for the job you are doing

Best Wishes to you all Chris and we look forward to more of your old style random posts on here :thumbsup::mrgreen:
