escort new boy Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 my first job was at mcdonalds had to do it as nowhere else employed anyone at the age of 16 and i needed to pay for my motorbike somehow, left there and went on an apprenticeship at a college to be a mechanic, worked in an accident repair place for a few months then got sick of that, then worked in a normal garage for 2 years, i left there in january of this year as it was driving me mad, not doing anything now until september when i go to college to start a new course in hairdressing. , i haven't actually worked for a company hope to tho in the holidays that are coming up, national insurance number has just came through

ratman Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 Left school at 16 got a job as a storeman that lasted 4 years got a job with BT as a storeman was there 5 years untill they had a security purge and found i had more phone then they did after getting nicked & comunity serice got a job with the council as a rat chatcher and im still there 18 years later
NHR115 Posted July 13, 2008 Report Posted July 13, 2008 When i left school at 18 I worked in a bank - done a bit of call centre work for them before going on to be a recruitment consultant. I left 3 years later and decided to go back to uni and i'm now a clinical pathologist

oldbus Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Once i got my O levels i joined up and went to military college.(anything to get away from home) Got my qualifications in Engineering and got posted out to Germany getting paid lots of money playing around with guns and weapons systems. Got out after 6 years and started off from scratch again. Worked at a cash and carry, started off filling shelves and after a couple of years and a bit of training ended up running the place!

Its the card at the back if this image works!
