Its all ok looking at cars that are owned by money thrower's but the likes of me have to scrimp and save and try our best. can we have some normal cars to look at L2B was full of um but allways saw the camera pointed at the same old same old.....observation over

i do agree...

 

im fed up of reading about big money builds and the same old cars again and again and the multiple pics of the same cars again and again.

 

there are plenty of fords out there on a budget that are so cool and those are the ones always overlooked

Big G, we're damned if we do, damned if we don't... the whole point of the mag is to inspire by showing everything that goes on or gets built up that's interesting, regardless of how much was spent.

 

Saying that, there is a special budget theme to next month's mag.

 

As for the L2B pics, are you sure it was our snapper? Cos the pics I was looking at earlier were full of fresh metal.

it does seem the same cars are snapped a lot and always get pics. I mena at ford fair there were over 8 shots of the green mk2 estate. yes its a good car and it was on your stand but 8 shots of the same thing. ive seen feature cars with less than 8 shots on their own feature...its always the same cars at different shows getting snapped.

 

there were hndreds of brilliant cars there and yet it does seem to be the same cars at every shows that ge snapped all the time....

(i still buy the mag though )

I guess you mean the Classic Ford Show, and Retro Dave's green Estate drag car. This was the first time the finished car had been seen in public... it's been the talk of the scene for months - we'd have been a bunch of twats if we didn't throw more than just one shot in!

sorry if ive offended you or the mag but i erad it every month and have done for nearly 4 years now and recently it just seems there is more of the same old and less of the variety.

id like to see low budget cars not major buget cars built in a garage by a pro but average joe with a drive and a hand full of tools

big credit card cars are ok but its starting to get like maxpower mag they use to have average joes now its new plastics built on a big budget by a body shop

not saying your putting plastics in your mag just the scale of the builds is getting to cost more than my house

Seems to me that you maybe need to get out the CF office more and get into the scene more then you''ll see plenty of proper genuine cars owner built.
