im not sure, tbh.. it is nicer to think that God is there, but if he is why is there so much hate, war and suffering in the world. why does he allow children to starve because they were born in the 'wrong' country (meaning a poverty filled one), and then stupid utter idiots who were born in a wealthy country and go arond stabbing each other.. why is horrible deseases such as cancer and AIDS around ? there is nooooooooo plus points any way you look at them.

I am not religious. as somebody already said religion is the cause of many a war. At the bottom if it all it's always my religion is better than yours. Where there is a religion, there is an extremist for that religion , a person who will hide behind a spiritual teaching and use/interprate it for their own ends.

religion and faith are fine so long as you keep it to yourself, if you get something out of it that makes you feel good or get through your day, fine. (personally ill thing your a bit nutts but whatever ).

Religion is nothing but an attempt to control you. I know people that use religion to prop themselves up because they don't have the courage to take strength from within themselves. If God is anywhere it's within you (buddhism Glen?). Oh yeah i'm not religious .

Both my mum & dad are religious every Sunday regular a clockwork me mum dose the church flowers and dad is a churchwarden and sings in the choir

But that’s there thing! And even though I was dragged to church every Sunday as a kid when I was 13 and didn’t want to go they was cool with it never forced me

 

Think I was a bit of a disappointment when the hair got longer and I started wearing black Sabbath t shirts

 

But there not the in your face type they believe if you don’t that’s cool
