Rick Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 why cant they just fix it at a quid a litre., i dont mind that its a fair price for fuel whether theres shortage or not. doesnt mean they should rob everyone, the government should use some of that bank money to help keep prices down cuz the country is just as fooked without fuel as it is without banks
mk2_escort_chick Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Shell is now 97.9. I won't buy from supermarkets anymore. Especially with morrisons still having a contamination issue
Deano1351 Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Theres a shell near me at 97.9, bp is 101.9 and texaco will probably rob your wheels as well while your paying, about 103.9 if i remember right, it was at 5:40 this morning when i was driving round trying to get the cheapest. Its good that its come down but these garages are still making a mint out of us, it could easilly go down more and them still make a profit
cisco24uk Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 99.9p at Esso in eastbourne yesterday.
pauline Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 bp round the coner is 1.03 which is normal the dearest one round here dont know about the rest carless at the mo
Daggle Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 97.9 at Morrisons around the corner from me, just filled up the missus' focus and it finally cost less then £50 for a tank, first time for ages , also just hearing that interest rates might be coming down for next year as well, down to 2% , might mean I can finally afford a replacement for my much missed Anglebox
flyingbanana Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 cheapest ive seen is 99.9 in ipwisch and norfolk and colchester even saw 4 star @ 1.05 in norwich at sainsburys..didnt think no one sold it still
OldskoolSue Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 i paid 1.02 this morning, was hoping it would be lower but no such luck
JAY PS Posted October 21, 2008 Author Report Posted October 21, 2008 Anyone hear Radio 2 tonight ,because the amercians are skint they are meeting tommorow to decide to turn production down so to increase prices as oil is traded in dollars ! The expert reckoned all these prices will be short lived and indicated that its very likely the goverment will increase the tax on it in a couple of weeks .
surfingturnip Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 petrols about 98.9 to 99.9 around here, including shell garages........which is nice, shame I've only got a diesel at the moment though
