antz Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 the round ones i voted COUPE but i wanted ROADSTER
surfingturnip Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 roadster for the absolute monkey funking win!
Admin Vista Posted October 23, 2008 Admin Report Posted October 23, 2008 I think they both look good but have voted with my head and gone coupe for several reasons 1) The stiffening required to turn a tin top into a rag top often makes them so heavy that it ruins their handling and performance 2) Assuming you are in fact going to fit some sort of convertible roof, these home grown / kit conversions often look horrendous when they're up (ie most of the time in the UK and trust me, I own a rag top) you only have to look at the Capri ones that are around to get an idea of ho bad they can look. Plus they usually leak like sieves and that = dampness and rot.
mk1super Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 Leave as is and use the money it would have taken to go ragtop an fit a xe
Copey Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 i voted roadster but the more i look the more i like the coupe...
evil knievel Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 coupe. looks better, and it just makes more sense in the UK! when would you really get to have the roof down? twice a year?
mk3cokebottle Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Posted October 23, 2008 cool geuss the roadster is winning then
Copey Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 cool geuss the roadster is winning then haha, now its dead even bet that makes it an easier decision
