Not sure on the bore/stroke but it comes out as 2.4 i think. Anyway, what kind of thing am i looking for when buying something like this? It doesnt have a provision for a dizzy so nessetates a Ignition map set-up etc. Does anyone have pics of a millington block? What would you guys expect to pay just for a block with the crank rods and pistons etc, all forged items. With a pinto head, what do you think max power would be with 48's ?? 220bhp? 250bhp?? Wierd one?

sambo Posted November 28, 2008 Author Report Posted November 28, 2008 I think its an old skool holbay block. i'll have to get more info on the crank and pistons etc but i think it may be more hassle than whats its worth. the cost of getting it running will be sky high after i buy ignition kit, the rest of the dry sump gear, and then it needs to be stipped and checked by a decent engine builder etc.......it all adds up to a scary amount of money! /A cossie head on there for more power?

I hink the block is a millington as in some of the pics you can just about make out the word 'millington' and there is a diamond shapes logo on it too. Anyway, if the guy is trying to sell it with the pinto head, then i think i'll give it a miss !! Cheers guys (and eagle-eye Ratman!!)
