My mk5 is going in for lots of evenings of work. Inner and outer sills both sides graft in outer a pillar skins from a scrap shell that I have cut out engine out remove badly welded patches on bulkhead and replace with new metal. New lower front valance and boot floor os repair patch too!!!! Then after xmas look at getting my donor car stripped of its BOB 24V Cosworth and loom and graft it in to the mk5 along with power steering that i picked up from Colin14 on Tuesday!!!!! Should keep me busy for a few hours!!!!!

What i want to do..... .... but probably wont for some time..... Fit my Turbo Timer. Drivers bucket seat. Air/Fuel gauge. Rolling Road run. Tidying up bits n bobs.

Its what HT's use in their pintos, nice and driveable and could show some more power Were using the HT1 - awesome bit of kit but you do need double valve springs

I just think its nice to try something differant, we all want more power

BIG G Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 to do paint some bits fit fuel pump fit gear indicator re fit oil cooler fit map light re programme shift light wax oyl inner wing area make new backbox sort out leaking ashley manifold and some other shit thats not been found yet to buy tension struts arb and drop link kit new battery 4 new tyres and only 3 months left to do it all in between changing nappys

Fit the headlining that's been in the cupboard for three years(!). Get some of the paint re-done as it's starting to look a little tatty. .......And re-gear the blower, and replace the rose-joints on the 4-link, and rewire the engine bay with proper multiple connectors... ...and fit a new kitchen for the missus...... ....and finish the rebuild of my VFR750..... ....and redo the paint on the daughter's CBR600....And Nissan GT.... ....and drink beer, eat too much and have an argument with a member of the family. Isn't Christmas great!
