trevb Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 I was in my garage the other day as I needed to sort out the electrics, had the soldering iron on and it wouldn’t warm up enough to melt the solder, I had to put the iron in the car with a heater running before I had any luck... Its cold!

steve mk2 Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 was out on the car all day today and it was a cold one 1 tshirt 4 jumpers longjhons trackies 2pairs socks thick trainers and wooly hat ad i was just write...... till i stoped moving then later on my granma came and gave me a cup of tea biscuits cake and some hand warmer tht i put in some latex gloves. thanks gran

Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 is it just me getting old or are any or you lot stopped working on your osf at moment . im usually always out in me garage but i just cant be arsed . right, heres a tip for ya.. go to your local fire station, ask if there they have an old 1 piece fire suit you could possibly have, they are padded and so fookin warm i swear you wont get cold outside again, combine the suit with a hat, battery operated heated socks then all you have to do is keep warmin ya hands up now and then the suits are worth thier weight in gold, we use them at work but the weather has got to be below freezing otherwise you sweat your nads off!
