downhill, wet roads, split second glance at my dashboard.... and theres the back of a car

managed to save the front end but took a tough bump to the door pillar, thus fooking a door and a wing and the bottom of the pillar has gone in half inch and creased the cill and shocked various bits of filler into nice cracks

SH*T, not good, but you seem to have a positive attitude .. so good luck in repairing the car and look forward to show season and seeing it looking as good as it did before.

You did well to get it turned, usually when you jump on the brakes in a panic in an OSF they lock up and you can`t steer.

Atleast you can repair it yourself.

Unlucky Rick.

Does your insurance not cover the repair? With values being what they are I can't see them writing it off for that.

yes mate but i dont trust anyone else to do the work. Me n my dad know this car weld for weld and i know we can get it right again.

As danny69 said, well done for steering out of it, a lot of people would of froze and skidded straight on, a few months ago some corsa boys near me came tanking it towards a roundabout and couldnt stop, the skid marks i swear were a 100ft long straight into the arrows sign on the roundabout, bonnet, front panel all crushed in, a little lift off the brakes and a bit of steering would have put them on to the nice soft grass, oh how i smirked when i went past, numptys. All the best getting yours fixed rick, as you said you know the car inside out so im sure you'll have it done in no time, old fords never die, they just get better :thumbsup::thumbsup:
