BIGKEV Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 As some of you know Em and me met on the oldskoolford forum and and we have been engaged for some time now. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I love her to bits We have a beautiful Baby Girl together - Charlotte who is 3 in June We have decided to move location from Hampshire to Yorkshire over the summer months in the hope of offering our daughter/and our family a better quality of life away from the "Rat Race" of London. It has taken me a while to work it out but I have at last realised that its not about money - its about Family. (silly sod for not realising sooner) We had decided that we wouldnt get married until the RS was done so we could use it as a wedding car - alas Emma's Anglia has had to be sold due to the move so she wont be able to arrive in her car. As we are moving in May we have decided to go ahead and get married because we really want to before we leave the area - Lack of funds means that we cant have the huge day we would like to have but that wont stop us doing it because it is what I want this of course has spurred me on to finsh the RS and well put it this way.... as of wednesday it will be ready We will have a small family event in Alton registery office on the 3rd April ( friday) we will then go to the Holiday Inn in Farnborough ( by the massive roundabout ) for the rest of the day/evening and we will stay overnight in the Hotel, nothing fancy, no disco - just somewhere for us all to chill and eat and drink and chill. Jonb Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Congratulations chap We moved back north when my eldest was under 1, and its the best thing we ever did. We missed the money at first, but we re-organised everything at the same time. I now get to pick the bairns up from school a couple of times a week, and spend some time with them (which has its ups and downs ) Ten minutes from my front door and I can be in the north york moors national park or at the beach, Northumberland national park is less than an hour away. Why did I live in the city for so long
