sitting_budda Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 I took advantage of the great weather and managed to get a couple of bits done on the escort. Completed rolled one of the rear arches and also flared it out slightly Before.... ...and after. Its subtle but its made a big difference to the clearance at the back. Rolled arch... ...unrolled arch Also added a -1 1/2inch lowering kit. Will see how it drives, may have to swap for -1 inch blocks... Heres what it used to look like... Now with the rear sitting squat
Superblue76 Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 That looks much better now its lowers mate you might struggle with the 1 1/2" drop though, mine was down 2" but I had to raise it back an inch so I could use it. I took the head of my mk1 today ready for a new cam and took the exhaust manifold off ready for a ceramic coating.

sitting_budda Posted March 21, 2009 Author Report Posted March 21, 2009 What size wheels are those mate?? they look like 15's n goin on the dish 7" wide Spot on!! 15x7j performance alloys. Bought them off a guy on here. Unfortunately theyve got 195/50s on them at the moment which scrubbed on the arches, hence I took the lowering blocks off. Ill replace them with some 195/45s when they wear out.... Just means ill need to do a lil more of this....
