Looks like a hydraulic fitting to me, so possibly summat to do with power steering.

Its sbit strange isnt it :mrgreen: The part number is:7K735AA

By the way the top part with the outlet pipe spins round :?

 

that's because it's a nut and cone type fitting, it'll go tight as the nut tightens. If it didn't spin the hose attached to it would wind itself up as you tightened it.

As a hydraulic hose end fitting won't be held on by jubilee clips if purchased new from the manufactuer, it's safe to assume that hoses bought complete will be supplied with swaged compression fittings so the hose will be attached.

Do you have the Finis no' ? as that would make it easier to find in my capri parts book :wink:

2nd item looks like a mk2/3 capri bulkhead cover plate (dunno its real name) it seals the heater matrix pipes through the bulk to heater unit.

Yeah its very similar to a mk1 cortina but different :mrgreen::thumbsup:

Yep. I'd agree with that. It's the same looking part as on a MK2 Escort :thumbsup:
