X-pack-Glyn Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 you know the car and knew someone gassed emselves in it many years ago?
5hane Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 wooow, err tough one. i dont think i could buy it and sell it on. it depends - me personally i couldnt - unless it was something really special (rs1800 lol) but if you dont care about all ghosts and stuff (which creep me out ) sure. how long ago was it?
trakevlyn Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Yes as it long as you can get your head round the fact that it happend as many people who kill them selves are ill and not bad people, if they had died of a heart attack in it you wouldnt worry so much
qwerty Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 Yeah course. How do you know that someone hasn't died in your OSF anyway. I know absolutly none of the history of the Qwertina anything could have happened in it!!
X-pack-Glyn Posted April 30, 2009 Author Report Posted April 30, 2009 He was a mate of mine, a good mate, gassed himself in his works car park in 91 all over a girl, the cars been in his brothers garage locked away and untouched ever since, ive known about it for a long time...but you dont really knock on the door and ask for em to sell it do you, i just kinda kept it locked away in the back of my mind with loads of other nasty stuff i keep in there... but words got out theyve decided to move it on, its been untouched in the garage since 91 under a sheet.... thing is it would feel disloyal to an old friend, but then i know hed have wanted it to be put to good use as well, its a tough one aint it.
X-pack-Glyn Posted April 30, 2009 Author Report Posted April 30, 2009 but if you dont care about all ghosts and stuff (which creep me out tell me about it, few years ago i had missus grandads riley kestrel 1934 model in the garage and i wouldnt go in there after dark, just the look of the old car in the dark freaked me out.
5hane Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 but if you dont care about all ghosts and stuff (which creep me out tell me about it, few years ago i had missus grandads riley kestrel 1934 model in the garage and i wouldnt go in there after dark, just the look of the old car in the dark freaked me out. urgh - shivers up me spine. BUT as its your mate. GO FOR IT ! if he was a good mate ~ you should do it for him. as a rememberance. it would make the car extra special - it would be a memorial - imsure if your freind is looking down - he would want you to do it if its a freind ~ theres nothing to be afraid of ~ he'll keep you safe i say do it - (edit: wow what an over use of - _
turbo-mike Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 would not bother me as long as the body was got out quick or it will leave a nasty mess on the seat, Mickey c
GJUK Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 ye would'nt bother me This. I wouldnt be bothered at all, we all die.
Savvi Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 If you were going to do something with it and use it why not ? Like others have said he was a good mate who obviously had problems but sure he would have preferred you to have it then be scrap or sold to someone else. You still haven't said what car it is ? You also have to look at how much it's going to cost you to do something with it.
Guest chriscapriman Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 tough one suppose alot of time has passed since then and the car should probably be put to good use there has been time to mourn and grieve i think the car being used and enjoyed now would be a fitting memory to your mate just dont read or watch 'Christine' if you do get it, you will freak yourself right out especially if its red
john_3.0s Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 yeah think positive, its a few years ago now and although its still a tough thing to think about im sure he would approve of it going to a good home
2.8i Cossie Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Problem is if you dont take it it could end up scrapped and you would kick yourself for letting a mates car get scrapped Go for it!
escort21 Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Lifes to short...do what you always do.....make it low and fast
Conor Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 I'd definitely get the car and use it. I'd be having the odd conversation with your mate every day though just so he doesn't go do something mischievous like pull the coil wire off as you drive down the road.
4parajon Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Get it bought. I'm sure your deceased mate would rather you have it than anyone else.
escort21 Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Just don't let Mand in it mate as i know shes ghost sensitive
Superblue76 Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 i believe when your dead your dead, thats it, no more, no soul, no afterlife. Dead. Get the car and have some fun, remember your mate for how he was not how he ended up.
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 yeah deffo would buy it infact id ask for it cheaper due to its history
project_pearl Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 Get it and use it in remberance of your mate What is it btw?!
FredTransit Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 If he was a good mate, do it. What is there to be scared about? I used to live near the cometary where my dad is buried, used to go there often, sometimes into the twilight, never bothered me. Dad was there.....
Dazmush Posted May 1, 2009 Report Posted May 1, 2009 I would have it but not use it at night as you dont hear of ghosts in daylight
