Posse Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 when having your car painted would you have under your arches painted body colour or just go straight in for the black stone chip
escort new boy Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 if the cars black just stone chip but with colour otherwise
emu Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Black stonechip. If its colour coded then its another bit to have to keep clean Anyway, the car should be so low that you cant see what colour the arches are!!!

LEONMEX Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Defo black as youll spend as much time cleaning your arches as the rest of the car

Jelly Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Black underneath and inside, with colour coded engine bay and boot.
DEP Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Black m8, as you know i had my arches done white, looks good at the time, but a pain in the ass to keep clean
Johnson Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 so true, its got to be black on the underside and arches. i do admire cars with a mint painted and detailed underside. but then you have to remember we dont live in california and theres so much crud on our roads its just not worth it for a road car.
BaileyMex Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 I like the look for nice painted metal under the arches, but I'm so glad mine are black
RETRO_AL Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 mine was stonechiped then painted same white as my car,for me personaly i wanted it white not for the buffty effect, but so i can spot any rust easyer if any comes thro, and if i ever sell it it you can see im not hinding any crap bodywork/welding under the underseal i will clean it underneath just to keep her in good nick, but trust me you will never see my in a buffty contest and it WILL be drivin hard
Guest MK1gaz Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 BLACK , when viewed from the side a car with a painted floor etc shows it's underside and foooks up the outline , the underarches don't look too bad though but black ones still look better i reckon
