still to this day, I cant figure out why anyone would build a car like this, its shocking. The owner must have had too much money and been smoking something funny

The reason i was asking is due to being offerded a black 2.8 capri with metal flake! when brand new it was sent to a body shop and repainted!!!

The capri spent 11 years stored doing nothing???? and then sold.

it was then put on the road! and now i have the option of buying it!

not that i need anymore but its cheap!!!!

wants a couple little things doing! im just not over sure about the style of paint????

what do you all think???? its very retro!!!!!

cheers dave...

Thats what im building now. a 70s hotrod, yes going for metalflake, jacked up back end and other things from the 70s, just getting the bits together.

There was a metalflake Capri MKI at Brooklands Capri 40th last year which was metalflake, looked great in the sun.

Looking at some of the pics on this topic it's quite amazing to think that people did such stuff to their cars, people still do it now, but I think some cars are better at pulling off certain styles than others
