Much the same as the last 5 years of it, mildly entertaining but a bit infantile. It'd be nice if they kept the humour but actually included a bit of proper motoring journalism inbetween the pranks.

Oh, and ditch that reasonably priced car rubbish.

funny as...

but yeh a little bit more motors and a littles pranks would be better but still the best thing on the tv at the moment imho

For quite a while now Top Gear has not been about Motoring Journalism it is an entertainment program that happens to feature the type of cars that most people could only dream of owning .

I watch it knowing what i am going to get . nobody is making all the haters out there watch it . if you want serious car programs watch 5th Gear opps that got cancelled cause nobody watched it

Looks like i shall have to eat my words about fifth gear being cancelled apparently the series started on the 4th of June still on channel five , i have not seen one piece of promotion for the new series

so that is now every thursday at 7.30pm for all of you wishing a different take on motoring programs :ykt:

thing is, the haters watch it to see if it got any better! I don't actually hate it, but it's very samey these days, and destroying stuff just cos they think it's funny has got old.....

I thought it was a good series opener, a lot better then some of the last series.

Thought the Robin Reliant piece was funny as :ykt: although you just know that the mayor of some northern towns wife used to own the 1 they smashed and there will be a hate letter sent in soon :lol:

I thought it was good! As said above, very much the same as past programs but thats not a bad thing imo! I like the resonably priced car bit. Bill Baileys a legend!:thumbsup:

I am reliably informed that if you use an online proxy, you can view BBC iplayer from outside the UK.

It aint working in Holland.

After I stop'd watching the last 4 episode’s from the previous series I must admit I really enjoyed this one. So I will switch channels to BBC2 coming up Sunday.
