Savvi Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 I paid £50 for my 1st mk1 escort in about 1982 Bought lots of them after that some for as little as £25 for a 2 door, my Mk1 Escort van i paid £5 but had to give the farmer his new wheels & tyres back to have it for that price I used it for 18mths then it got scrapped cos it needed some welding which i couldnt do myself or afford to have it done If it were now i'd do it myself in about an hour or so.
