which are the best wiper blades to buy and what sort of price, mine are not too clever just smear the screen, i bought a pair of blades from boyes for the fiesta but they dont seem too clever now and they have only been on 2 months tops

 

and question 2 is there any tips how to clean off marks on windscreen left by knackered wipers, its a fairly new screen and got 2 x marks left by the blade, it would have been a good idea if the previous owner put new blades on when he put new screen in to save it getting marked

 

ive tried window cleaner and t cut but the marks wont budge

I used a cleaning cream from Halfords for the Corty, like a thick windowlene, and Halfords wiper blades, they have been on a while now and are still ok.

If the wipers are lifting and smearing, it's probably the arms that are more at fault than the blades, if there's not enough tension left in the spring to hold them firmly on the screen, you get a poor wipe as a result

i think the arms are ok ill try get some cream and new blades i priced bosch ones 11.49 each

11.49 each i buy mine from the local motor factors for £3.50 each valeo ones, they seem to work ok. if yours arnet split at all then try wiping them with brake and clutch cleaner, usually works a treat

i found some cheap ones in boyes ill try them my other car has cheap ones on, i t cut the mark out best i can then glass polished the screen

try GSF for bosch wipers, i got 2 the other day for a bmw 22" with a spoiler and a 19" for under £16 inc vat so a couple of std wipers will be cheaper
