Well, my RS is nearing completion at the Retro Restos bodyshop and will be taxed next week-end for the first time this week and I just can't wait to drive it

Anyone else about to finish a project or tax their car for the first time this year?

taxed mine this morning, goes in for its MOT tomorrow and it had a quick session on the rollers last week to get it running a bit better lower down the rev range. Last time it was on was 2 years ago and it had been set up for better peak power. I always hated it but never got around to doing anything about it, fixed now.

I may have to wait 'til next month, as I have a couple of little jobs to do. i.e fit the battery in the boot (to stop the top hose being kinked at an awkward angle from the rad........it'sh a bit "toit") re-mount fuel pump to the boot too, MOT, wash it.
